Coming soon – our department is mounting a show of all the projects we’ve been working on this fall (all stemming from themes from a circus short story we read) – ZOÖTROPE is going to be part of it. A real invitation is going out soon, but for now, it’ll be up in SVA’s gallery on 209 East 23rd Street from Feb. 10 – March 3rd, 2012.

Every one knows JB Fletcher don’t give a damn about cars ‘cause driving is for suckers.
Jessica Fletcher is known far and wide for catching the eye of every stately older gentleman she runs into. After all, she is one hot ticket. But in “Lovers and Other Killers” she piques the interest of her newly assigned male secretary, who is much, much younger. Watching this young lad try to reel Jessica in, all the while having her defend him as the accused of the week is pure bliss. Especially when his advances reach super-creepy heights as he tries one last time to woo her with a talking teddy bear as she boards a plane back to Cabot Cove.
Oh yeah, Peter Graves is in the episode as well, and, you guessed it, tries to get some Fletcher action himself.
I think this pretty much sums up the most important part of each episode of Murder She Wrote. Put Jessica in a ridiculous situation in which she has to solve ridiculous murders ridiculously.
In the series pilot, she must go to a costume party for some reason and wear a fairy godmother dress, because….she can, I guess? It doesn’t get better than this.
