Thank you, King Con! Tapir Tooth tabled (and oh what a table - we sat comfortably for the first time at a con) and really enjoyed the hell out of King Con this weekend (held in the historic Brooklyn Lyceum). Comickers' Meetup

We met up on Aug 17th for a huge comicker's meetup and it was hella fun! Bree Rubin, Amy Bogin, Blujay, Miriam Gibson, Brian Lam, Brian Ronaghan, Marvin, Stevie, Jennifer Weber, and many more were there playing raucous pictionary and making jam comics. (I'm sorry if I've left you off of this list - if so please comment or contact me and I will add you to the entry).

April Comics Meet Up- Miriam

Last week some other web comic creators and I had a comic's meet up in NYC. Drinks and comics were had by all. The meat of these Drink and Draw-s are spent on beer and doing round table comics. Here a couple comic made my myself, Bree (of Nerd Comics), Clare Samuels, and H. Caldwell Tanner.

ANDREA TSURUMI’s newest Terka comic, MISSING PIECES, is finally here! Terka is a diminutive human lost in the world of monsters, seeking some good advice. Druedermann is a giant armless creature who’s been buried underground for hundreds of years. Smith is a larcenous, mummified man and the best friend Terka’s ever had. How do their stories collide? Look for us in the south-west part of the Armory (to your left if you come in from the main entrance) - we'll be towards the back and facing the wall (but not against it).

The Return of Max Quarterhorse

Been pulling some late nights lately working on the second half of Max Quarterhorse.

I have the habit of doodling on another piece of paper while I'm inking comics. Here are some of my favorites so far.

MOCCA 2010 is coming!

We're back!

Tapir Tooth is going to have a table at MOCCA 2010, this time in APRIL (4/10-4/11) and once again, at the NY Armory on Lexington Avenue. There will be google doppelgangers. There will be centaurs. There will be armless monsters who go to museums. There will be comics poetry. There will be dirty birds and Bruce Lee. It will be DELIGHTFUL!

Let us know if you're coming --- we'll email more details about location, special things, etc. when it gets closer to the date. We're excited and we hope you are too! Tapir Tooth just keeps on growing!
